Kohala Hospital Charitable Foundation fundraiser approaches soon

The fundraising event will be held at Kohala Village Hub in Hawi on Aug. 27 from 5:30 to 9 p.m.

The musical talents of Karen Miller, David Gomes and Wendy Hindley will open the evening, followed by Danny and Anna Akaka for “talk story.” Vocalist Miss Binti Bailey and her band will also perform.

Tickets at $100 per person, including two drinks, heavy pupus, sushi bar, dessert and entertainment. All proceeds will be used to buy much needed state-of-the-art hospital beds for Kohala Hospital.
